SYNERGISTIC ACTIVITIES
- From 2002 to 2005, Yevgeniy Kovchegov was an active participant in the VIGRE program at University of California, Los Angeles.
- Currently, Yevgeniy Kovchegov is a participant in the Oregon State University Ecosystem Informatics IGERT program.This cross disciplinary training grant brings together students and researchers in bioengineering, computer science, fisheries and wildlife, forest science, geosciences, and mathematics.
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THIS SUMMER INSTITUTE IN ECOINFORMATICS:
interacting particle systems, random walks in random environments, reinforced processes, coupling methods, percolation, self-avoiding walks, other statistical mechanical models and applications of probability in chemistry and ecology.
